Dorset House - Glouscester Place, London
A good example of how we apply our extensive industry experience to residential projects is exemplified in the contract won at Dorset House. This imposing residential mansion block in Glouscester Place, London, required a major replacement of pipework throughout the property. The contract, worth in excess of £4.5 million, was won by Argents after a tender process of sealed bids for this two phase project.
The initial phase involved installing infrastructure at Basement, Lower Ground and Ground Floor levels. This has been followed by the pipework replacement phase due to complete by the end of 2008. This will involve installing new hot and cold water pipework in all risers, together with a new radiator heating system in each of the 196 prestigious apartments.
The work has been carefully programmed by Argent in order to reduce the inconvenience to residents and together with Parkgate-Aspen Property Management tenants are being kept fully informed of the schedule and progress of the work over the life of the project.
